Life is not a set of instructions but is a series of experiences and learning process. Engineering is no exception. This is where MSEC steps in – to make a difference and where learning is not just series of instructions but a passion, which goes beyond books, beyond instructions, beyond learning horizons. I am thankful and grateful to the management for wonderful facility provided to all the staff members and the students in M.S.Engg College (MSEC). The College is situated in silicon city of India, Bangalore and affiliated to noted technical university VTU, named in the name of noted scholar and eminent engineer Sir.M.Visveswaraya. The MSEC fulfils its goals and objectives to the needy persons in college as per the vision and mission of the trust.

At MSEC, we believe in learning by capturing set of experiences and enable one to explore new realms of wisdom. I am happy to note and inform that, all the departments are ready to inculcate a spirit of scientific, analytical and technical thinking and train the students in all the fields of engineering and management, far with all the leading institutes. Low ranking students who joined MSEC in the beginning and completed the course with creditable First Class with Distinction. Students of our institution have secured ranks at the university level. All this is because of the excellent mentoring by our faculty members. Personalized counseling and parental care are made possible by the Proctor Scheme, where 15 students are assigned to each faculty member, who gives personalized attention to each of them.

The institute is also engaged in supporting the students to refine the necessary skills, attitudes and the aptitude towards the corporate placement process in the campus by the way of periodical competitive tests and group interaction exercises. With a student strength of 1700 plus for total five departments of engineering and a discipline of MBA and MCA. Efforts are pursued assiduously to identify the functional gaps between MSEC and the premier institutions of the country like IITs and NITs so as to narrow them as soon as possible. Many numbers of students keep receiving Central/state Government and private Scholarships. In addition, the management is also magnanimous in offering scholarships to meritorious students, students from SC/ST and students who have excelled in sports. Excellences in co-curricular and extra- curricular activities are encouraged among students to mould them into full-fledged personalities.


I hope and wish that, the team of well qualified staff members with sufficient infrastructure provided by the management will train our beloved students in all academics, co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities and in turn makes them to deliver their acquired knowledge to the needs of the community globally and make this institute as numero one in all respects.
