The Mechanical Engineering Department started in the year 2004 with an intake of 60 students.

The department has totally dedicated faculty members with master degree qualification with various specialization like, Design, Manufacturing Science, Thermal Engineering, Maintenance and Engineering Management and two PhD holders with long academic and practical experience. The Mechanical Engineers plays a major role in design, development and manufacturing of machineries required by the country.
